What the score is for

• Comparing tradeoffs across safety confidence, accessibility, and convenience.
• Reducing decision errors caused by one listing photo set or one tour moment.

What the score is not for

• It is not a legal, crime, or hazard certification.
• It is not a guarantee of future conditions.
• It is not a substitute for contract and building due diligence.

Major scoring dimensions

• Safety confidence: route-level visibility, environment cues, and practical renter risk indicators.
• Accessibility: daily mobility, transit fallback options, and commute reliability.
• Convenience: everyday errand access and day-to-day friction.

Limitations you should expect

• City and neighborhood summaries can mask block-level variation.
• Conditions can change rapidly over time.
• Personal priorities differ and should be weighted explicitly.

Why address-level verification still matters

The final decision should always be made at exact-address level. For most renters, route quality, building entry conditions, and late-return transit realities are what determine post-move satisfaction.
